Thorny Bush is a peaceful, dog-aware retreat designed for guests who value space, privacy and a calmer pace of life.
Sid🐾 is our family dog, and the 🐔 girls happily provide fresh egg breakfasts for our guests.
Whether your dog is sociable, sensitive, nervous or simply prefers their own space, you’ll find a warm, respectful welcome here – just as you are.

“From arrival, the welcome was so warm it instantly set the tone. Then we saw The Den — and we were completely blown away. The view is breathtaking, the interior is lovely, and every comfort has been carefully considered. They couldn’t have been more wonderful with our dog Bobby, which made the stay even more special. The log burner was the cherry on top.
An unforgettable stay and easily the best-kept secret we’ve ever found.

"Just back from a lovely few days stay in The Hive at Thorny Bush.
Perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful scenery with great facilities and ideal for a stay with dogs. The secure field was great for our dog to stretch her legs.

We stayed in the Hive with our dog and it was absolutely beautiful, supper clean, they catered for all of our needs and they went above and beyond for us.
We loved the inclosed felid as our dog has not got great recall. The woodlands is also such a lovely peaceful walk and there is loads of land just to walk around so beautiful.
We are definitely going to book again as we all loved it so much! 🐝"
