Had a fantastic weekend at the Hive and Vicki and a Chris were incredibly helpful and lovely. Hidden away the cottage is very peaceful and fully equipped with everything you need for a romantic break away. Having had rubbish weather recently arriving to the log fire going when we entered was a lovely surprise and a great start to our weekend.

Most amazing stay at Thorny Bush. The hive was so beautiful and homely , comforting and so relaxing. Beautiful surroundings for fresh country walks and beaches and pubs lunches just a short drive away . The log burner was such a beautiful touch and made the experience feel like a cosy autumn night.

The Hive
We had a lovely getaway to Thorny Bush and stayed in the Hive. Absolutely beautiful little cabin and the surroundings & grounds are simply stunning!
The Hive exceeded our expectations of any log cabin we have previously visited & stayed in, and the Hive comes equipped with practically everything you would need for a few days stay, and to cook a hearty meal with the family whilst enjoying the warmth of the log burner during the coming autumn months. The cabin was clean, well stocked with crockery and spacious.
The destination is local to Pembrokeshire’s hot spots, we ventured out to the beach and Pembroke castle with the pups- Dahla and Bruzer thoroughly enjoyed exploring the grounds and the cabin was equipped with all that you would need (and more) for your fur babies!
The hosts, Vicky & Chris were very welcoming, friendly, and a lovely family. They both were accommodating to any questions we had and Vicky recommended local amenities for us to access.
We definitely plan to come back and visit- and I bet it’s absolutely gorgeous in the summertime! Highly recommend

The Hive
We stayed at The Hive over bonfire weekend with our 2 pooches. I can honestly say it’s the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. We loved it, everything you could need for a weekend away and the fella was happy as he could play with fire for the weekend with the lovely wood burning stove which kept us toasty warm after letting the dogs have a runout on one of the beaches not to far away. It was great to have the secure garden for the dogs, it’s always a relief to go somewhere really dog friendly, that you know the dogs can’t escape and you can leave them to mooch on their own. We would definitely recommend The Hive to anyone looking for somewhere nice an quiet. We’re defo going to book to go back next year, thank you Vicki and Chris

A great location with enclosed private garden with decking and seating leading onto a large meadow and woodland. Very dog friendly. Great welcome from hosts. Easy reach of beaches, coast path and local towns of interest. Would highly recommend.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay in this beautiful and truly dog friendly holiday home. The setting is stunning and Vicki was so friendly and helpful. Our dogs absolutely loved being able to run around the fields and woods and we are already working out dates for another visit.

Most comfortable cabin we have ever stayed in, surrounded by beautiful and peaceful, lush countryside. Everything Vicki did was to the minimum detail to ensure her guests a comfortable stay. Amazing host, amazing stay! We can't wait to return.

Lovely stay for a couple quiet and lovely setting great host great relaxing spot.
Amazing if you’ve got dogs that you want to take away they are very well looked after and have all the space that they want. Somewhere that isn’t bothered where they are and know that your dog will probs sit on the sofa with you it’s always a nice plus.

This is a haven, as a solo visitor with my dog it was perfect. I felt welcome and safe with the Den having everything you need for a really comfortable stay. I bought some jams made on site and eggs from the chicken (both delicious!). Vicki is a great host and this was an idyllic break away.

Can’t recommend this place enough. We arrived late but Vicki still met us at the car, asked how we were and walked us to the hive. The surroundings were beautiful and so peaceful.
I proposed to my fiancée here, and wouldn’t have picked a better spot to do so she was overwhelmed with happiness. For the price you pay, you get everything you could ask for in a peaceful, romantic getaway. Highly recommended.
