Which beaches are not dog friendly during the summer?

Some beaches in Pembrokeshire do not allow dogs between 1st May and 30th September each year.

A detailed map is available below (download) and are also displayed at all the beaches showing which areas dogs can or cannot be walked as well as lead only areas.

Partial bans are in place on the following beaches.

Newgale beach and promenade

Saundersfoot beach and promenade

Tenby Castle and South Beach

Amroth beach and Promenade

Poppit Sands

Broadhaven North

The following beaches are the subject of total dog bans: -

Tenby North Beach

Whitesands, St Davids

Leisure staff enforce these bans throughout the summer months.
