Campsite Rules
No one likes this bit, but our campsite rules are created with you in mind, and help to ensure that everyone has a nice stay at Thorny Bush.
Arrival / Departure
Pitches are available from noon on the day of your arrival. You are requested to leave your pitch by 11 am on your day of departure. If you wish to extend your stay, please contact us the day before your departure date to see if we can accommodate you.
Speed Limit
Please drive carefully around the site. The speed limit on-site is 5mph and that includes leaving via the driveway out to the road. There are often children playing, and our dog Sid who is our chief meet and greet member of staff, will be having a wandering around. Also Grandma will be around tending to the gardens and she cannot move so fast these days!
BBQ & Fire Pits
Any barbecues used on site should be robust, secure and able to be raised off of the floor, there should no damage or marks left on the ground where they have been used. If you plan to use disposable barbecues please let us know and we can provide you some bricks to raise it off the grass. No barbecues of any kind are allowed anywhere in the our woodland.
Please ensure the smoke and fumes do not annoy other site users. In times of very dry or windy weather, when the fire risk is high, the use of barbecues/ fire pits may be restricted.
